~Spiritual Abuse in Our Churches (1 Timothy 5:20, Titus 1:5-9, 1 John 1:9-10) 

~Insight into the Aftermath of Churches Covering Up Abuse (Jeremiah 23:1-4, Ezekiel 34:1-16, Matthew 23:1-12, Acts 20:28-30) 

~Lack of Understanding Equals Lack of Accountability (Proverbs 2:6 and 4:7) 

~Who's Picking and Choosing Scriptures to "Follow"? (James 2:10) 

~"If this is how a Christian acts, I want no part in it..." (Matthew 18) 

~Misrepresentation and Control (Galatians 1:6-9 (yes, it's Paul) 

~Guilt and Shame — and Knowing the Difference (Shame can distort God's love and mercy) (Psalms 34:5) 

~The Difference Between Knowledge and Wisdom. Man learns knowledge. Wisdom is a divine treasure we seek to find.(Proverbs 3:5-6, James 1:5, Proverbs 16:16)


These are just a few verses to support each point. A little digging will find you many more. This is the current state of our American churches and why so many people are steering away from organized religion. The sad part is, we want to see our family and friends as whole as we are, yet we've become the "woke" or heretics. When really, we've had no choice but to look for the truth. There we found understanding, and from there He showed us Wisdom.

I have some news! A Lancaster, Ohio friend has joined me for a short stay!! A designer and maker of many forms. From animation, drafting, modeling, product design, and packaging… Her skill set is very impressive! She is responsible for the majority of my family’s Christmas presents this year. Everyone loved them and the talent and time they knew it took her to create them from scratch. The picture is the one created for my son, Jack. It fits to a T! We have also been working to winterize the house. It is in the teens here right now. We use three space heaters to warm the common area and our rooms. Thankfully, the South doesn't get too much of this for too long :) It was wonderful to see some snow regardless of the temperature. The Cloak of Christianity

“It is like trying to save a drowning man…” So let’s say this Cloak represents and represents every denomination, every religious leader, every religious act and the expectations and religious laws therein. Imagine with me… A drowning man. The man fully dressed. Boots, jeans, his shirt and this Cloak of Christianity. He knows how to swim. He knows how to tread water, but the waters are too rough and he’s been exhausted from trying to stay afloat. Perhaps in this scenario there is an undertow starting to pull him down by the length and weight of the drenched Cloak. The very thing he was awarded when he gave his life to Christ. The very thing he was given by the church to keep him safe from the elements of the world. That man was taught and believes that this cloak is to keep him safe - and should never be taken off, but if he does not take it off the garments weighing him down, he will surely drown. Week 4 Update

     Saturday friends came to brainstorm and talk about the structure of the upcoming creative mission organization. From right to left we have, Amy Jo, Mary Ellen, John, and Nanna. They came from Columbia to help plan the next steps of a non profit, grant writing, and forming a board of directors. Mary Ellen, is a natural networking agent and is well connected in Columbia, SC. She has talked with people who are willing to come give their talents to help in these initial phases.       The idea is to free licensed counseling for each person that comes to stay on the property. So far people have an overwhelming willingness to give of this special gift. A licensed therapists from the Columbia area is willing to give one day of her week to come to the property and give free counseling sessions.
