Our Mission and Vision

Mission Restoration is a property that had been winterized since 2016 and was being reclaimed by the Sumter National Forest in Newberry County, South Carolina. This 1.78-acre property includes a small home constructed in the 1940s, which is in need of major restoration. My desire is to utilize this serene retreat in nature to create a space where a few come at a time to regain their confidence through creative and ever-evolving opportunities.

However, Mission Restoration is more than just restoring the home and property; it is also about restoring our spirits. Here, we will work alongside the tranquility of nature while engaging in the physical restoration of the land and home. Each application of our efforts aims to foster a sense of healthy pride and confidence that individuals may have been lacking, helping them take the next step in their lives. There is a therapist out of Columbia willing to give free sessions to anyone who comes for a short stay at the Mission.

The goal is to make Mission Restoration a continuously growing initiative. Through their dedication and hard work, some may have the opportunity to become the owners or foremen of their own lawn care or painting service. The mission provides the necessary equipment, insurance, and helps them maintain and run the business while mentoring and training the next person who comes through. For those with experience in the trades but lacking the confidence or clout to start their own businesses, we aim to assist by helping individuals secede by mentoring and ultimately investing in their dreams.

By allowing us to support you in achieving your needs—whether business or personal—you will also help us fulfill our mission of assisting those in need of a leg up. Many that come to stay will have the opportunity to train in and take over any of the following services we already provide.

Currently, we offer services such as, product design (CAD design), mold making, prototyping, 3D modeling, tailored promotional items, custom tiles, plastic and stone fabrication, garden, and patio decor, among others.
